To see this flower when it first bloomed would have been lovely but looking at even now, there’s a beautiful mystic about it (and just a cob-web or two).
The cold of the Mendenhall Glacier beside it no doubt preserved this flower of yesterday much longer than its intended stay. However, once the warm weather and winds come visiting one can only guess… “mum, how much longer?”
