Icicles Up Close and Personal

When it comes to icicles, any icicles, I have to admit I’m a sucker for them.

So when the snow began melting off rooftops, I was in absolute heaven looking at the many and varied icicles that were forming here, there, and everywhere!

Icicles - Up Close and Personal

Some were longer than my legs (not that THAT is any great challenge) whilst others were all twisted and tangled little things. It’s interesting to note that after our snowstorm, many of the icicles tasted like smoke.

It got to the point the children were actually a tad wary of taking an icicle because of this, asking about the return of the natural flavoured icicles and… “mum, how much longer?”
