I love this! And you are so right about it having a Japanese feel to it. I have seen such illustrations with birds with pink breasts- like a Bullfinch. What kind of bird is this please?
Thank you! Now remember I’m no native to Canada but for me it’s a Golden Crowned Sparrow. It’s wet and cold so he’s pulling himself in somewhat. He has no pink, the colour I fear is a throwback to the orange plastic our neighbour has draped over his tool shed behind this bush.
Great and imaginative use of what must be an eye-sore! That orange plastic definitely gives your photo the Japanese touch!
