After my post this morning of my photo taken during our February snowstorm, I couldn’t resist posting this sign from Churchill, Manitoba last year.
It’s not everyday you are standing outside a huge, and I mean ginormous, warehouse which is hosting 29 polar bears awaiting transfer away from the town centre and the people who live there.

I could say that on no day will I be priviledged to stand outside a polar bear holding facility. What a great sign.

I still pinch myself – being in Churchill was DEFINITELY one of the “once-in-a-lifetime” moments but would go back in a heartbeat, lol! 🙂

It was probably like going to Greenland was for me. A totally different landscape, freezing cold, and a life I couldn’t start to comprehend. I’d go back in a flash also. We’re so lucky to have had the experience.
