Whilst at the river last week I was enthralled with this lump of moss on the very edge of the river bank. It reminded me of the slow growth of my children’s hair after when they were babes!
When crouching down to get a photo of it, that’s when I noticed how the sunlight hitting the water behind it created the most wonderful bokeh effect. This was simply the icing on the cake!
I like that! And your association to baby hair made me laugh 😀

The water & sunlight really does make all the difference with the image. I laughed at the analogy with your children’s hair!

Isn’t it WHAT?! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing as I dropped myself lower and lower trying to capture this cluster of moss, it was such a wonderful surprise! 🙂

Thank you so much – I’m sure my husband’s boss thought I was completely loopy as I was all but lying on the ground attempting to capture as much of the background as I could! 🙂
