Even along the banks of our river the autumn colours have been prevalent. The many and varied shades of yellow are incredible. Who knew there were so many variants?
Add a breeze to this autumn palette and it feels as if the trees are dancing, rejoicing almost in their change of attire. Soon enough these branches will be covered in snow creating yet another glorious scene.
AUTUMN is this week’s One Word Photo Challenge word from Jennifer Nichole Wells. If you aren’t already familiar with Jennifer’s challenge, you really should head over now to join the fun.
So sorry I missed your post. This is beautiful.

Beautiful shades of autumn colors! But I bet you can’t wait for the white stuff to come down 🙂

Given the chill in the air (and Halloween around the corner) I’m hoping to see some snow soon!

I imagine it’s quite beautiful when snow covers it 🙂

The funny thing is that I took that photo two weeks ago. Since the storms over the last weekend however those riverbanks have all changed… drastically!
