It’s a new year, a new view, a new adventure!

Given it was such a rush to the 2015 finish line, it’s nice now to be able to sit back with a nice demitasse, admiring my new view. Be it watching the sun rise, the sun set, or everything in-between, it’s simply glorious!

New Year New View

No longer will Mount Elizabeth be my soothing image whilst I do my dishes. Instead it will be the calming influence of this stretch of water with a hint of snow-covered mountains in the background.

It’s a new year, a new house, and a new adventure… yep, 2016 is shaping up to be a very good year!

    • Many thanks Otto – so far so good with 2016! Admittedly, we’ve been VERY blessed to have found a house with such a wonderful views. Although I’ve found I have to work with my back to the view otherwise NOTHING gets done, lol! 😉

  1. I am LOVING that view! I am a real homebird and have lived in the same house for over 35 years. So I kind of envy you the opportunity to shift, change and become someone else each time you move. Different spaces bring out different aspects of us, don’t you think? I wonder what new Joanne we will see developing in this new chapter?
Here’s to all the discoveries you will make! Karen x

    • Thank you so much Karen – I love the way you think. 😏 Hopefully it’s a far more RELAXED Joanne emerging from this move… once the renovations are completed of course. Although I have to say, I’ve already begun to “stop and smell the roses” or should I say, “stop and absorb the view”, lol. Be prepared for LOTS of photos!😂
