iPhriday is a day to share pictures from your cell phones, hosted by the lovely Lisa at Gray Days and Coffee. Each morning and afternoon I see these beautiful flowers directly at the top of our driveway as I head off on the school-runs.
No doubt they are regarded as a weed but as long as our whipper-snipper isn’t working, they’ll continue to grace our drive. If you’d like to join iPhriday, simply create a post with your photos from your phone, and tag it iPhriday. Too easy!
Beautiful weeds, Joanne. Happy they are staying 🙂

Hi, I love your photo of what I think are aquilegia or columbine. We call them fairy bonnets here in Devon. A huge variety of pastel colours and far too pretty to be called a weed, even though they seed all over the place. \lovely shot 🙂

Thank you so much. I’m almost convinced they are Columbines but I think I’ll adopt the beautiful Devon name of Fairy Bonnets!😄

haha! I’m glad your whipper snipper isn’t working. Are they columbine?

Secretly I’m hoping the neighbours glares will work like lasers and cut my grass for me, lol.😂 As for the flowers, they are very similar to a Columbine, they just don’t open into a star formation, so maybe…
