Here is my submission for Week 3 of the One Four Challenge hosted by Robyn Gosby at Captivate Me.
Having adjusted the colours for the first week, then changing the photo to sepia last week, I couldn’t help but wonder what the result of combining the two would be.
A mask was created over the flowers again. This time I adjusted the hue, endeavouring to bring out the pink in the peonies. A mask was then created over the remainder of the photo to change the colour to grey tones, with a vignette once again added.
Below are my submissions from the previous weeks for comparison.
If you aren’t already familiar with this challenge hosted by the talented Robyn Gosby of Captivate Me, it’s where you choose one of your own photographs, manipulating it differently for the next four weeks. Be sure to check out everyone’s submissions for this month!
This is so lovely Joanne – I really like the way you’ve made the flowers the focus. Nicely done.Apologies for my delayed response. I’ve had the flu again. On the mend now though 🙂
