Goodness, how fast did I run for my camera when I looked out my Studio window and saw this eagle chowing down on something on the top of our backyard tree?!
It wasn’t until I downloaded the photos that I realized what we had actually been looking at. Of all the things I was thinking it could possibly be, a leg wasn’t on my list!
A great capture, Joanne. Looks like a sea bird became his lunch.

This is an amazing capture! That’s crazy about the leg in his mouth! One of my friend’s lives on a mountain around her and her dog came back carrying a deer leg!

Oh my goodness, a deer leg – what a happy and proud dog he would have been!

woo-hoo! What a fantastic find, Joanne, and excellent photo. Love those powerful claws in full view on the stump.

Thank you Jet – trimming our trees last year was the best decision. It’s provides the perfect “stage” for so much of our wildlife!

That’s what it looks like, a web foot.

LOL, how easily we forget that’s what they eat. No waste for sure!

Two left feet!! Wow but how?? Like… did this Eagle have its feet too close to one another?

Neither did I until I downloaded the photos – thought it was just a plant of some sort which seemed odd in itself!
