For one of our days in Venice we took a ferry over to the Islands of Murano to watch some glass-blowing and to enjoy lunch.
Both children were intrigued with the waterways.
This photograph of Girl Child is one of my all-time favorites – it’s a shame this one here is a scan of a scan so it’s not as clear as it should be.
And even on this little island the children were still able to seek out a park for some play-time!
We had lunch at the most wonderful little restaurant which on going to the wash-rooms, discovered had a piece of the World Trade Center hanging on the wall. Even from this little island off Venice, support was sent at time needed to those who needed it. Absolutely incredible!
