Afternoon Autumn Glow (WPC – Glow)

Yesterday afternoon I had to take a double-take at the house across the harbour. At first glance there appeared to be flames licking at the side of the house. My zoom-lens quickly revealed this burning glow to simply be a tree’s autumn attire.

Glow is The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge word the week.

Looking down my garden path (JNW’s Halloween Challenge – Autumn)

How lucky are we to have this Red Maple Tree in our very own back yard? Its fall colours are so bright and beautiful against the green grass and the rock path.

Autumn is today’s Challenge Word with  Jennifer Nichole Wells Halloween Challenge.

Follow the Yellow Track Home (Fav Foto Friday)

Anytime of the year seems to be a good time of the year for a road trip around British Columbia. There is beauty at every turn. Everywhere you look its like a postcard.

As you can see, Autumn is definitely no exception. With the mist hanging low in the valley, the changing colours in the leaves and a winding train track, what’s not to love!

Time to fly Flamingo (Fav Foto Friday)

The changing colours of the leaves is something that constantly leaves me in awe. There are so many colours in those leaves it’s astounding. And it’s those very colours that tell me it’s time to bring in the flamingoes!

AUTUMN along the river banks! (OWPC)

Even along the banks of our river the autumn colours have been prevalent. The many and varied shades of yellow are incredible. Who knew there were so many variants?

Add a breeze to this autumn palette and it feels as if the trees are dancing, rejoicing almost in their change of attire. Soon enough these branches will be covered in snow creating yet another  glorious scene.
