Out my car window (WPC – Windows)

If you have to stop for road works over the summer, how nice is it to be able to look out the car window to this “arrangement” of blooms in the grass just off the road beside the car.

Windows is the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for this week.

Hidden within (Flower Friday)

When there are Lisianthus at the supermarket, there is no way I am able to walk past without adding a couple of bunches to my trolley. They are such a beautiful bloom.

Their old-world appearance gives them an old-world charm that appeals so very much to me. Particularly when I can add a filter or two to make them even more-so!

The slow release (Flower Friday)

Watching and waiting as the buds slowly unfurl, revealing the beautiful bloom within whilst releasing its intoxicating perfume, wishing it was faster and slower all at the same time.

Who knew such a small pot of hyacinth blooms could be so exhausting!😂

Iris Grunge (iPhriday Flowers)

Such an old-world flower deserved an old-world feel hence the grunge filter. Ah yes, I do like the filter-fun the iPhone allows one to have (an understatement some would say, lol).

Seldom do I take a photo of an iris that I like but with the simply addition of a filter, I’m fine.

Hint of Spring Time (Macro Monday)

The blue-purple hues of these Heritage Hydrangeas were simply glorious. As time went on the purple became stronger than the blue.

Here’s to a Spring bursting full with colour and an overabundance of blooms!
