What an incredible year 2016 has been – our family is most definitely counting it’s blessings this year!
We’ve been welcomed into a wonderful community, our house has been transformed into a beautiful home by some very talented and patient contractors, and we had the opportunity to spend some fun times with family in Australia.
It wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns as my husband is still working on another continent. Plus there were other speed-bumps along the way, but for what we have and the life we live, I am truly grateful.
For all the support and encouragement I’ve received through this blog I am also extremely grateful. To be greeted with unexpected kind words of a morning is the greatest way to put a spring in anyone’s step!
From our house to yours, may there always be angel watching over you and your family not only at Christmas but throughout the new year – may your blessings be great and your troubles small.
How fabulous it was to look above me in Macy’s to see Santa and his reindeer flying around New York City, complete with the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler Building and of course Macy’s!
And there wasn’t just the one of these, there were more of these on the floor, each with a different setting. Given the sheer size of these decorations, where on earth are they all stored? And how?
Go big or go home I say and this certainly was what this hotel did when I saw they’d decorated their huge Christmas tree with ornate masquerade masks. You’d think it would be too much but it so wasn’t!
On seeing the ornaments they’d used for this Christmas tree I was in awe. I took photo after photo with the family eventually dragging me away in utter embarrassment.
Artificial is the One Word Photo Challenge word from Jennifer Nichole Wells this week. Artificial ornaments on an artificial tree, and to think, we all lived to tell the story, lol!
