This week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge is… CLOSE UP!
There were big plans to take new photos just for this challenge but as I sit here with my head about to explode thanks to a head-cold, I’ve chosen a photo of some barnacles from Sitka, Alaska.
This is just how the inside of my eye-lids feel at the moment, as if there is something rubbing behind them, so thought this capture rather apt.
Please tell me it’s time for coffee now…
There’s not a time when I don’t look at a bag of Liquorice Allsorts that I don’t think of my father.
All my life there was always at least one bag of Liquorice Allsorts tucked away somewhere in the house and each evening he’d have just one or two to satisfy his crazy.
Oh. My. Goodness. Did I forget to post a photo of a frangipani last month?
Dang, I may just have to post two photos this month to make up for it, lol! 😉
When I was taking photographs for the Daily Post Roy G. Biv Challenge, this was one of the captures I took that morning.
For some crazy reason, seeing those “hairs” on the edge of the petals always makes me smile. Then I rub my legs for a stubble check, lol! 🙂
A new month, another One Four Challenge hosted by Robyn at Captivate Me. Robyn’s challenge is to choose one photo of your choice then each week for the next four weeks, process it a different way.
This is a photo I took off the structure that surrounds the actual hot springs out at Harrison Hot Springs. For today I simply added the Miniature Effect which boosts up the contrast , slightly blurring the edges.
There’s no denying I was expecting something a little more impressive of Harrison Hot Springs having spent an evening at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland but hey, it was a lovely morning and the company was rather good also! 🙂
