In amongst the wonderful assortment of greens and flowers of my Valentine’s flowers were some Heritage Hydrangeas. Some of my all-time favourite flowers.
Seeing these blooms included was so exciting as it’s been forever since there have been fresh hydrangeas in the house, woohoo!
The blue-purple hues of these Heritage Hydrangeas were simply glorious. As time went on the purple became stronger than the blue.
Here’s to a Spring bursting full with colour and an overabundance of blooms!
But wait, there’s more…
As if I wasn’t delighted enough with the beautiful blue balls presented like a sapphires in the in the center of my Hydrangea blooms yesterday, those balls have now begun unfurling.
Oh. My. Gosh. How delightful it is, looking at my white Hydrangeas to see all these beautiful blue star-bursts scattered amongst them. Mother Nature, you are FULL of surprises!
This is a much better surprise than that of the children being home again today due to the rotating teacher’s strikes… “mum, how much longer?”
