Looking Through Rose Coloured Glasses (iPhriday Flowers)

Seriously, who knew taking a photo with my iPhone whilst holding this bunch of roses was going to be so difficult. This is SO not the image I was hoping to get.

At least it’s a capture of the bunch of coloured roses Hubby bought for me a few weeks ago. With a little tweaking from an iPhone app, it’s all good, lol.

Going Green (iPhriday Flowers)

Of all the beautiful flowers that were in the gloriously huge Christmas arrangement my husband gave me, these green beauties are all that are left amongst all the greenery.

Not that it diminishes the beauty of the arrangement by any means, with the tendril of red berries cascading down one side and the she-cat constantly licking the cellophane on the other side, the arrangement lives on!

The last tulip of the year! (iPhriday Flowers)

Just as I reached the checkout at the grocers the other day, I couldn’t help but notice they had tubs filled with tulips for sale. Naturally I had to grab a couple of bunches. This was the last tulip determined not to drop its wilting petals.

Subtle Snapdragons (iPhriday Flowers)

Walking out of the post office the other day, I couldn’t help but notice there were still quite a number of snapdragons in the building’s garden beds. Thank goodness for the iPhone camera I say, lol!

Christmas is here! (iPhriday Flower)

This Christmas Cactus a friend gave me two years ago and although it flowered back in April, it’s flowering again now. It’s so full of buds just ready to burst like this one.

Christmas is here!

So is my other Christmas Cactus which I bought five years ago. This being the very first time its flowered for me since purchasing it with flowers. Dare I say… it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

Lovin’ the Pink (iPhriday Flowers)

The stunning colour in this flower which was surrounded by so many promising buds, more than caught my attention whilst wandering the Brisbane Botanical Gardens earlier this year.

Lovin' the Pink

Once again I’m lovin’ this opportunity offered by Lisa over at GrayDaysandCoffee for iPhone photos. It’s such a hoot playing with images on the phone!

Summer Umbrellas! (iPhriday Flowers)

These tiny flowers, clustered so tightly together, reminded of tiny little umbrellas. Now I’m thinking that perhaps I should have titled this post “How I Met your Mother” instead, lol.

Roadside Beauty (iPhriday Flowers)

Having stopped on my way to Kitimat to take photos of the river, as I walked back to the car these beautiful flowers on the other side of the road caught my eye.
