This week’s Photo Challenge from The Daily Post is Rule of Thirds… “a photography concept that puts the subject of the photograph off-center, which usually results in blank space in the rest of the image.”
This photo of a life-sized sculpture created by Mare Mikoff came immediately to mind. I would see this piece each day through the window of the gallery whilst out walking during my visit to Tallinn, Estonia last January.
Even now as I look at this work, I find it’s imagery quite haunting with its ghost-like quality appearing to walk through walls.
Beautiful Estonia, the children are still asking in regards to their visit to Tallinn and… “mum, how much longer?”
