The tulips have been absolutely stunning here this year. The colored tulips all having various shades throughout the bloom rather than the one block color. Simply glorious!
The background of this photograph has me more than a little intrigued as nowhere in this house is this color. Not that I’m complaining at all as it blends beautifully with my tulip!
Despite what might be happening outside my window right now, the birds and blooms are telling me the earth is awakening. It’s spring time!
Awakening is the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge this week.
This tree stands beside our summer-house in the back yard. Each winter I look at it in its current state wondering if it will come back to life or remain perpetually in readiness for spring.
If it was to remain in this perpetual state of readiness, one ponders the possibility of it being painted silver. It could be a garden ornament for 10 months of the year then an arty-farty Christmas tree for the remaining two. Waste not want not!
After days of torrential rain and gale-force winds that striped my maple tree of all its leaves within a matter of hours, the sun is now shining, reminiscent of summer days that were. Days when dews drops glistened under the morning sun.
The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge this week is… ROUNDED.
Each time I take more photos of the raindrops hanging off the pine tree outside my kitchen window I promise myself it will be the last time.
Then on this occasion I saw these little “doobies” forming on the tips of the branches and well, one or two more photos wouldn’t hurt… would it?
